Project: Kickass.

Meet Savannah, one of my long-time good friends. Recently, she began an incredibly inspirational blog called Project: Kickass. Savannah and I share many things in common, one of those being our idealistic and creative minds; another being our tendencies to procrastinate in just about every area of our lives. Project: Kickass allows its readers to follow Savannah as she takes her procrastinating lifestyle and "kicks its ass." Her blog begins with her personal weightloss goals (she documented today that she has lost 6.4 pounds in the past week!) Her blog will also include everything from volunteering to random thoughts and commentaries on daily life. It's both witty and deeply honest and I find reading it enlightening and refreshing!

I strongly recommend that you follow Project: Kickass!

  3. Thank you so much Risa. You know what I find helps don't do the same exercise for too long. I do work out videos which really makes the time go quickly. Also working out with others helps me keep going where as by myself I might have just quit early.

  4. Savannah, your idea really inspired me because, as you know too well, I have SO many ideas to improve other peoples' lives and my own, but I am such a horrible procrastinator that they get put on the back burner. Your blog makes me want to start kicking my own ass and actually really try to meet some of my goals! Honestly, many of my goals haven't been reached strictly due to fear...fear of change, fear of people, fear of failure, etc. But lately I've really been trying to face those fears and get over them because I'm tired of standing in my own way of the things I really want.

  5. I totally understand I also have a huge fear of failure and at some point you realize it isn't getting you anywhere. I realized that I always think when I get more time maybe I will start doing . . . But there is never that perfect time when you have money and time and extra space. So I am tired of waiting and I am forcing myself to make my life my own now.
